Pratiba Raman is 50% newshound, 25% classical dancer, 15% fitness enthusiast and 15% entrepreneur. She became a feature journalist by accident, mainstream journalist by discovery and independent journalist by choice.
She trod through print, broadcast and digital over a span of 12 years. Pratiba is now an independent journalist responsible for analytical stories for media organisations like the Quint and India Today.
Her passion for breaking down complex news stories (both international and national) and presenting them with an intent to supercharge youngsters about politics, business and more led to the launch of social media news platform Newssence, and bi-lingual Tamil/English podcast Arasiyal time in 2020.
Her courses on the art of journalistic story-telling via smartphones has gained popularity across journalism institutions where students needs to be guided on the news and tech of tomorrow.
