We are pleased to announce that National School of Journalism and Public Discourse (NSoJ) resumed classes (online) for all undergraduate programmes today (30 March 2020) while our postgraduate students are undergoing practical training in various news organizations.
We have been able to use technology effectively to seamlessly run our programmes and stick to our full pre-lockdown schedule and timetable, including live lectures, student interactions, classwork, seminars and assignments. We are also continuing to produce ground-breaking original stories on our news website, The Tannoy, on the evolving COVID-19 situation.
We are thankful to be able to continue our mission of training a generation of ethical journalists who care about justice, truth and democracy. These are values that are more relevant than ever during this period of fear, public health concerns, economic distress and social displacement.
